Who Attended Affiliate Summit 2006

I’ve had lots of folks ask me how many affiliates attended Affiliate Summit this time around. A quick check of the attendee statistics revealed the following:

• Affiliates - 23%

• Merchant / Advertiser - 31%
• Affiliate Network / Advertising Network / CPA Network - 34%
• Vendor - 5%
• Staff - 1%
• Press - 2%
• Service Provider - 4%

The affiliate number is actually higher than the number of attendees identifying themselves as such, as CPA networks act in both an affiliate and merchant role.
