UK Cashback Site, GreasyPalm, to Offer White Label Services

GreasyPalm.co.uk, one of the UK’s largest consumer rewards websites, has announced the launch of their white label cashback services.
The white label of GreasyPalm will allow sites to offer their own branded cashback shopping service where members can earn cash rewards from over 850 participating retailers.
“We’re very pleased to offer white label partnerships out to media owners, enabling them to generate an additional revenue stream and give added value to their audience,” commented Neil Durrant, Marketing Director of GreasyPalm.
GreasyPalm was the UK’s first cashback website, launched in 2003, and they currently have over 750,000 registered members and generate millions of pounds in retail sales every month. Over £4.5 million in cash rebates have been awarded to members since launch.

It will be difficult for affiliates to compete with 100% cashback/rebate sites like Quidco.com when GP only gives 50% cashback to their members (as soon as they discover they can get twice as much cashback elsewhere they will be off).
I have seen affiliate income from GP virtually dry up despite recruiting 1000’s of members as the competition amongst UK cashback sites hots up – there are literally dozens already and white labels will just flood the market – it’s late in the game to start building a brand for yourself now. And sites like Quidco which rebate all the affiliate commission (in exchange for a small one off admin fee) are making it much harder for affiliates to earn some crumbs.
