Turnkey Comparison Shopping and Cash Back for Affiliates

by on November 12, 2010

Inuvo has partnered with Extrabux to create BargainMatch, a comparison shopping API with integrated cash back and coupon discounts for affiliates.

BargainMatchBargainMatch enables affiliates to create their own loyalty sites and allows them to offer cash back based on product price comparison functionality.

The application will be available to affiliates and mobile application developers.

Something to review and consider.

Thank you for a detailed explanation, Loren. Interesting model indeed.

Geno, you are correct. A few advantages of the service:
1. You don’t have to join any merchant programs, just use the BargainMatch service and we keep track of everything.
2. We can layer in PPC listings as an optional additional monetization opportunity that you won’t get from merchant programs. The PPC feed comes direct from Yahoo.
3. It is API based so if you want to layer in your own feeds you can do so (we can also create a site using our template engine).
4. It’s a value add for your users. Shop by store is great, but limiting. Searching for a product then comparing prices from multiple merchants is a more natural shopping experience.

It does seem like it. Would be great to have someone from Inuvo clarify this here.

I am not sure if it works that way, or if the affiliate would be expected to join all the programs. I’d imagine it’s the former.

So BargainMatch will then act as an affiliate, and those who decide use the service as their sub-affiliates?
