Trading in LinkedIn for MySpace

I’ve never really found much value in LinkedIn - lots of requests for introductions from people I don’t really know for the most part.

So I finally closed my account over there and I’ve started one up at MySpace.

The reasons are many:

• It’s a monster community and I want to keep tabs on advertising opportunities

• I’m able to create a more robust bio in HTML
• I see various ways to sell my various businesses and projects that I couldn’t do in the more buttoned up LinkedIn
