Anne Holland, Publisher of MarketingSherpa, gave the keynote address on the first day of Affiliate Summit, and covered the Top 5 Affiliate Marketing Opportunities for 2006.
Anne kicked things off by reporting to the crowd, which swelled beyond 1,000, that afiliate marketing has experienced something of a hidden success.
The channel was responsible for $6.5 billion in transactons in 2005, and that was a low estimate, according to Ms. Holland.
The first two opportunities cited were news release and landing pages.
