I used to try to listen to Podcasts on my computer as I worked, but I realized that I wasn’t really paying attention with the phone ringing, e-mail flowing in, and a big inbox in front of me.
So I finally picked up an iPod a few months back, and made it a habit to get out of the office to get fresh air and listen to podcasts.
There are still some distractions, as my Blackberry tempts me into some e-mail action while walking around, but I’m mostly able to focus on the shows, and I find a great amount of value in them.
Here are the shows I have loaded in my iPod:
- Affiliate Marketing Blog – Fraser Edwards
- The Daily SearchCast – Danny Sullivan
- Friday Podcast – Andrew Wee
- Jeff and Sam Talk Tech, Marketing, Teh Internets and Stuff – Jeff Doak and Sam Harrelson
- Ten Golden Rules – Jay Berkowitz
- Video Ninjas – Jim Kukral and Steve Rosenbaum
So, am I missing out on any good shows?

For a list of podcasts to internet marketing, check out this page at my resources site at Cumbrowski.com.
It includes podcasts to search engine marketing, competitive intelligence, small business, web design and more. Also some “dead” podcasts, but even those old podcasts without fresh episodes have a number of past episodes that are buried treasures.
Hi Shawn,
Wow, I’m honored that you’d download my friday podcast.
For new affiliates, I’d also recommend “Affiliate Marketing Today” on WMR. Even though the show is now off the air, the eps from 2004-2005 with Haiko hosting are instructional, esp if you’re newer to aff/CPA marketing.
And obviously, Affiliate Thang’ is something that I religiously download as well. You get a whole bunch of up to date info via podcasts, esp when great guests appear on the shows.
I especially like the “comedy” episodes when you have Aojon on…
I am subscribed to them all too Shawn, nice list.
Another one I think you might like is SEO101. It’s new and pretty basic but nice to hear different opinions and get a refresh every now and then.
