It’s all part of having a new governor. When Pataki was first elected he tried taxing the Indians on cigarettes and gasoline. The result was that the Indians burned tires in the highways going through their reservations and cost the NY state government Millions in emergency police and road repairs.
It would just be easier for Amazon to stop the affiliate program for all NY state residents. Then there is less income tax revenue for NY state.
