Supplement Affiliate Content with Videos

Network Solutions is doing a nice job of maintaining a presence in various social media areas and some of their output can be used as affiliate creative.
For instance, Network Solutions recently created an account on YouTube, and they’ve uploaded some videos that could be embedded by affiliates.
So an affiliate could take the Network Solutions video, “Create a Website – What You Need to Get Online,” and combine it with a review of the services from Network Solutions to sell the offerings.
But these sorts of videos do not have to be restricted to being passive sales efforts. Video can be part of an interactive experience on an affiliate site when combined with a service like Qoof.

The program I used to manage (Vat19.com) has been doing the Youtube thing for over a year now. It was helpful to affiliates, but a lot of people didn't like the idea that people who clicked on the video would end up at YouTube. After talking to ShareaSale at the last Affiliate Summit, I learned they had a new feature that allowed merchants to upload videos for use by affiliates.
There aren't a ton of merchants on board yet, but the videos there are another great way for affiliates to get video on their pages. I personally uploaded over 100 for Vat19, and a few other merchants have uploaded a handful each, too.
