After a couple failed attempts, I’ve become a YouTube Partner. This is something I’ve been interested in for a while for a couple reasons.
The YouTube Partner Program enables me to brand my channel on YouTube, as well having an option to activate revenue sharing in my videos.
And since I’m a YouTube Partner, my videos are now available (user name: affiliatetip) as Google AdSense Video units.

Becoming a YouTube Partner is a very good idea. If your videos get hot, and you have the ability to earn money from them, and advertise them, the earnings potential is very good. Congrats!

How exactly would one go about becoming a YouTube Partner? It’s not like I want to make money off of it, but I have a video with over 600k views and I’d like some of that ad money..

Just last week on http://www.Change.gov,I was successfully able to post a comment with a link back to http://www.ShawnDrewry.com,which I did see visible on the change dot gov website. They are using http://www.intensedebate.comon the change site. I feel they will also soon enable it on http://www.WhiteHouse.govas well, because I plan on joining the discussion over there myself .
And by the way, how many times exactly do you remember trying to get approved for the YouTube partner program? Is there like any minimal video requirements, such as needing to have like 50 videos minimum in order to be approved, or? Fill me in when you get a chance.

Not sure when they started keeping track of videos watched, but it's got to be a while.
I do watch lots though – anything affiliate related that I come across and plenty of random stuff.
