I’ve been getting an increasing number of questions on video, how to do it, market it, monetize it, etc. Since there is such an interest in video, I’ve decided to create an offshoot of the Affiliate Tip blog that is dedicated to video.
My new blog on video is titled simply Make Video on the Internet, and it’s a blog that will feature resources, information, tips, and advice on how to easily make video and publish it online.
Come on over to learn about video cameras, software, computers, communities, converters, and more.
If you have a question you’d like to know about working with video, go ahead and ask me and I’ll answer it in the blog.
Visit Make Video on the Internet at MakeVideo.info.

Hey Shawn –
Nice of you to take the time to answer this knucklehead’s question.
I’m developing a theory that part of the reason “things seem so crazy” and that there are so many idiotic questions being asked everywhere is at least in part due to:
1. Prescription medication addiction (and too many of these people are up all night scratching themselves and asking stoopid questions on blogs – like this dork.)
2. Fundamental inability of far too many people to reason – or think in a straight line from observation to a reasonable conclusion.
I feel an article coming on!
Hey – good luck on the web video project – I’m at the point where I “scroll to the video” and read only if I have to.
Thank God for high speed!

Good Grief!
Shawn offers to tell what he knows about his experience with videos and some chump comes about demanding his reference to being an expert.
Like I started this comment “Good Grief”
ANP just because you can read does not mean you have the ability to comprehend what you read. Get back to school and take an English class you sorely need it.
Sorry to rant on your blog Shawn but I woke to read another idiot on the net who does not have the basics in life. I want to thank you for offering your experience with creating videos and how to publish them. The time it takes to learn new technology can be taxing; having you or anyone take a bit of their time to explain it is invaluable.
Your time is appreciated.

I never professed to be an expert on video. However, I have been learning as I go and gaining useful information I can share. Plus, I am getting lots of questions from newbies about how to get started with video.
I struggled through the process of getting started and I am providing a resource for others who are now at that level.
That, too. I am seeing the market vividly, as I’ve already got the questions coming in via my affiliate marketing blog.
To date, I’ve been answering the questions directly to the people asking them, since they’re not affiliate related.
I figured I’ve got some good, original content, so why not put it out there for all to see?
Counterpoint: understood why you have the authority to pen an affiliate blog, but what credentials do you have to crown yourself an expert on video? Or are you simply seeing a market opportunity and seizing it?
I’m no communist and would never pooh-pooh any attempt to monetize existing traffic / consumers … just playin’ devil’s advocate over here.
Looks good Shawn. I’ve started a video project recently so I’ll definitely be reading the new blog for some tips.
