Pubcon Las Vegas 2009 Recap
I was at Pubcon Las Vegas last week for my 7th and final conference in fall 2009.
We had an Affiliate Summit booth at the conference, and I also spoke on a panel, “Will Performance Marketing Save the Advertising Industry?“.
Unfortunately, flu bugs took out a couple of our panelists, and it was looking like it would just be Lisa Riolo (@lisariolo) moderating a conversation between Lisa Picarille (@lisap) and myself. But Jay Berkowitz (@jayberkowitz) was a gamer, as he popped up on stage to join us.
While the crowd was modest, the conversation was rich. The session consisted largely of Q&A with the audience on affiliate marketing issues.
Aside from that panel, I was at the Affiliate Summit booth for most of Pubcon.
We were right across from the University of San Francisco booth, and I was entertained to see that the school used stock art of Chris Henger (@chrishenger).
Big thanks to Dennis Yu (@dennisyu) and James Zolman (@jameszol) for helping to staff the Affiliate Summit booth.
