Back in September, I was chatting with Wil Reynolds after he presented at Affiliate Summit in London, and he mentioned a site called Jott.
Jott bills itself as “Mobile Note Taking and Hands-Free Messaging.” In regular speak, it’s a service that enables you to call a number, leave a brief message, and then receive it transcribed in e-mail, as well as a link to the audio.
It’s excellent for any mad scientist marketer with undiagnosed ADD. I’m constantly thinking up ideas for sites, new domain names, etc. Then I forget them.
So Jott enables me to call up on my mobile and fire off a message to myself before I forget.
You can also get your friends and colleagues to join the service and send them messages.
This is one of the coolest services I’ve come across in a while, and it’s free!
Visit http://www.jott.com/ for more details.

I’d be happy to pay to use it. Just this morning, I used it 2x.
I wonder when they’ll charge, and how much. Right now it is ad supported, but I wonder how long that can last.
Woot – Jott is really great, thanks for sharing!
I especially like the feature that lets you speak a message to a friend that will then be sent as a txt msg to their phone.
I am horrible with cell-phone message authoring (tiny buttons!)
