PopShops WordPress Widget Euphoria

I just got notice that PopShops has unleashed their WordPress Affiliate Plugin v.1 and I was excited to install and test it out.

If you’re not familiar with PopShops, it’s an easy to use affiliate showcase tool, where you can quickly generate code to feature products for affiliate sites.

The PopShops plugin for WordPress enables affiliates to add PopShops shops as widgets, as well as popping in products within blog posts.

For example, I’ve added the PopShops widget to the left sidebar for WeViews.tv.

I also added a link and image for the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster at the bottom of my review.

It was really easy to find products I wanted to feature - PopShops enables affiliates to search over 22 million products across Commission Junction, LinkShare, Performics, and ShareASale.

This makes it a whole lot easier for me to include affiliate links for individual products that I review, rather than having to login to the affiliate networks each time.

Plus, I like that I can feature best selling items on the sidebar, footer, and other spots on the blog.

Go to http://www.popshops.com/faq/wordpress for more details and to request the alpha plugin download.

I like the ease of use but I really don’t like the link going to a popshops redirect.
