I joined Deborah Carney (a.k.a. Loxly) for a special edition of her Affiliate ABCs podcast to talk about all things photography for Webmasters.
We talked about which camera to use, the importance of megapixels, when to use a tripod, as well as how and now not to resize pictures for a Web site.
Deb and I also chatted about using digital camera for video, green screens, stock photo services.
If you’re not familiar with Deb, she has been a professional photographer for 30 years, and she has been creating Web sites for 15+ years.
And a little bit of trivia for you – the two of us worked together at ClubMom (now CafeMom) many years ago.
Check out Deb’s article, “Tips for Taking Pictures for Your Web Site,” in the current issue of FeedFront Magazine (hitting mailboxes soon and available now online).
More details on the issues and equipment we discussed at http://geekcast.fm/archives/affiliate-abcs-8-photography-for-webmasters/.

We just bought a new camera and looking for other equipment to enhance our services … great post and thanks for the useful ideas!
I remember meeting you at ClubMom and telling you that I was an affiliate marketer (I was Customer Service rep there) and saying if you needed help to let me know. lol. Then I saw your book …. doh. I think I even asked if you knew about ABestWeb… I was so naive back then!
We’ve come a long way baby…
