Pay Per Person Pushing Pay Per Post

Pay Per Post, the controversial company that enables advertisers to pay bloggers to blog about them, has launched an affiliate program on CJ.

The payout is a little paltry considering it’s a fairly targeted audience – they are paying $1 for each blogger or advertiser referred by an affiliate. The blogger or advertiser must register and complete an email confirmation.

The relatively low commission rate is sort of ironic since one of their affiliates banners asks, “TIRED OF EARNING PEANUTS FROM ADSENSE?” But maybe they’ll have a huge conversion ratio and I’m just too cynical.

Anyhow, nothing really noteworthy here. I just enjoyed the chance to go wild with alliteration in the headline.

Those guys at PPP are silent about how much they are paying the publishers. I guess that it is going to be hard for them to price it. And the whole system of matching publishers and advertisers seem a bit complicated. There are mixed sentiments about this new program as I read the posts at different affiliate marketing forums.
