Overstock Affiliate Program Moving to Commission Junction

by on February 23, 2009

LinkShare announced a couple weeks ago that they were parting ways from Overstock. After that news came out, there was speculation over the next network for Overstock, or whether they would be relaunching the affiliate program without an affiliate network.

Yesterday, I came across some posts on Twitter about Commission Junction bringing Overstock on board.

Overstock Moving to CJ

I’ve been searching around for an official announcement or any more details, but don’t see anything so far.

Overstock sent an email to their currently affiliates about the move, according to a thread on ABestWeb.

I’ll keep an eye out for more details.

Hi

The affiliate program is now fully migrated over to CJ.com and the program so far has been pretty sweet with lots of new offers for potential customers. I personally promote the Overstock products through Wordpress and the program so far has proven quite lucrative.

Cheers
Ben

interesting. the first rumor i heard was that they would be working with Google not CJ. Curious to see what happens. Overstock has had a very strong affiliate channel and views it as a very valuable http://www.relevantlyspeaking.com/?s=Interview+with+Overstock%E2%80%99s+CEO+Patrick+Byrne+&x=9&y=9

I haven’t seen a public announcement yet either, but here’s the text of the e-mail they sent to all affiliates in the program: http://sendme.to/overstock_cj
