New RSS Feed for Affiliates from Buy.com

Posted by Shawn Collins on November 18th, 2008 | 3 Comments

Thanks for visiting the Affiliate Tip blog. Subscribe to my RSS feed or enter your e-mail on the top left to get updates by e-mail.

The Buy.com affiliate program has launched a new RSS feed for their affiliates that updates daily with their weekly deals.

Affiliates just have to replace 999999 in the RSS URL with their Commission Junction PID and the links will convert to trackable links.

RSS feed of weekly deals/ price drops / email deals:

http://www.buy.com/rss/feed.asp?loc=62329&grp=2&pid=999999

They have also posted the information in an RSS feed for affiliates to subscribe and monitor for deals to feature at http://feeds.feedburner.com/BuycomWeeklyDeals

Note that this second URL isn’t for use by affiliates. It’s for reference.

Funny. I had just signed up for Buy.com and added this RSS option to my reader after I was approved.

I wish my other affiliate programs did this as well as Buy.com does. It makes life so much easier.

Other offers for CJ advertisers can be found on their CJ Offer Portal. http://cjbeta.com/offers/

It's a perma-beta product (over 2 years old), but has some good special offers that don't necessarily show up in “Get Links”.

    I hadn't seen that before – thanks.

Surprised they have a separate domain, instead of a subdomain or directory, but I looked at the WHOIS and it says CJ is the registrant.
