could you show some picture?
This blog is in Thesis – if you go to the sites for the other themes, I’d imagine they have links to examples.
wpnow.com provider is cheaters, they charged my credit card but NOT PROVIDED THE THEME.
Sent several emails for support but no response till date.
Designers/Developers please do not buy anything from this site.

I started using copyblogger’s theme recently for some sites and I like it a lot. Also the new default WordPress theme is great if you modified the header to not show that huge image at the top of every page.
Astonished to find no take-up for Justin Tadlock’s Theme Hybrid – completely free, though you can pay a small monthly fee for excellent support. Deliberately promoted as a free alternative to “get-rich-quick scam sites trying to sell you ‘premium’ themes” (wonder who he means by that…) and just as versatile and powerful as any of them. I write my own from scratch usually, but if I was going to use someone else’s it’d be Justin’s.
Er, I should say – my re-using the quote from Justin’s site wasn’t an attack on this one, or any other Thesis affiliate! But I do think there’s an unhealthy cult around Thesis, when better free alternatives exist…
I didn’t take any offense – I don’t know of him or his theme.
I only promote products and services I use and I’ve been very happy with Thesis.
And you won’t see any advice about getting rich quick here – I preach the opposite.
I’ll be honest, I see the themes you mentioned all over the place, and will admit they’re definitely solid. But, I stumbled across the free Intrepidity theme (by Top Blog Formula) in the Wordpress “get new theme” feature from the main interface.
The theme’s a beast.. It can be customized in tons of different ways, can be optimized, has a spot for an opt-in form, allows for landing page-style pages, and more. It’s remarkably detailed for a free theme, and everything I’ve needed for ranking and such.
Just my $0.02 lol.. it’s free and all, so worth checking out.

PS- Guys/gals reading this, the book being promoted in the top right, under “Buy This Book” is ridiculously good. I saw it as an after thought up there, but wanted to say it’s an excellent read. It’s more technical stuff too, not just your basic run-of-the-mill marketing info. very helpful for people wanting to take what they have to the next level.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the book!
I’m a newbie when it comes to blogging at themes. I have been on the hunt for Premium themes for a while, I have resorted to free premium themes on the web and end up getting disappointed. This help me see the same picture in a different light. thanks.
I’m definitely heavy in the custom built camp. With the right tools its, easy, fast and the price is cheaper than some of the premium themes. Personally, I think the premium themes are great products, but on a personal side I prefer to build and then upload rather than build on the site itself. Just feels faster to me.
If anyone’s interested, maybe I could do a quick 30 minute session on custom theme design from scratch for beginners at affiliate summit unconference in a couple weeks. Done this before at several WordCamps and Blogworld, but never with an affiliate focus.
I’d be interested in that topic – bring it on!
I’m using http://www.wordpressppc.com. It let’s me customize each page differently and its enough of a blank canvas to create any type of landing page.
Weird Results, I would have thought thesis would get even more votes than it did
Interesting results. I would have expected to see Thesis and Affiliate Theme at the top, but definitely see some others in there that I’m not familiar with. I’ll have to check them out.
Agreed, I am familiar with Woo, but haven’t used it. Most others I hadn’t heard of previously.
Pretty surprising to see such a low count for Headway.
I am not familiar with Headway – is that your favorite?
Yes, its pretty good. I haven’t used Thesis but I think both are same.
