Maximizing Affiliate Opportunities

Thanks for visiting the Affiliate Tip blog. Subscribe to my RSS feed or enter your e-mail on the top left to get updates by e-mail.

I have a site that lets visitors “clip and save” all the products that strike their fancy as they surf the Web. They can then, at a later date, click the Saved Products on my site to be taken back to the original E-commerce site to make a purchase. So, I’m wondering, how can I maximize my opportunity to capture an affiliate fee from virtually all E-commerce sites on the Web?

If I am understanding correctly, they are essentially bookmarking pages, which they can revisit through your site.

I’m not familiar with the phrase “clip and save” with regards to the Internet.

Maybe I’m simplifying your issue too much, but I’d suggest applying to every conceivable affiliate program that pertains to your audience if you’re trying to have as much coverage as possible.

Just go to all of the affiliate networks, as well as checking the sites of the retailers to see if they have an in-house affiliate program (using their own technology).

Then you can build in all of those merchants into your site.

When you get to a point of featuring hundreds of affiliate programs, you run the risk of some companies closing their affiliate programs or expiring the links at some point.

So be sure to test all of the links periodically, so you’re not sending your visitors to a dead end.

If I didn’t provide the answer you were seeking, feel free to post a response here to clarify things.

I don’t know which keywords my blog ranks well under. I don’t obsess about it.

But I will share my secret with you – Google has a bias towards original content.
