LinkShare Launches WordPress Plugin: Link Lookup

by on January 16, 2009

Ian Rosenwach, Product Manager at LinkShare, has announced a new WordPress plugin from LinkShare called Link Lookup.

Link Lookup enables LinkShare affiliates to do two things from their WordPress interface:

  • Create deep links – enter a URL on an advertiser site, and get back a tracking link with your id
  • Search for product links – search across all your advertisers or a specific advertiser for a product link, and then click and drag that product link directly into the post

That's pretty cool. I think I might try that out just to mess with around with it.

Thanks for posting this. I gave it a shot today. It was extremely easy to enable. I didn't like how small the product image was, but maybe that was dictated by the particular merchant feed? I'll have to try it with a couple of different merchants. What I did like was being able to include multiple products in the same post as well as being able to add the u1 tracking parameter manually to the html.
