LinkShare Launches Easy Links

LinkShare has announced Easy Links, contextual product ads that use proprietary intelligence to serve up relevant offers.

When an affiliate places the code for Easy Links on their site, the ad unit determines the context of the site and selects relevant products to display.

Also, Easy Links are designed to improve conversion rates. Once relevant products are selected, the ad unit uses a unique algorithm to determine which advertiser products have the greatest chance of conversion.

Easy Link ads are available in the following eight IAB sizes:

300 x 250 – (Medium Rectangle)
468 x 60 – (Full Banner)
234 x 60 – (Half Banner)
120 x 240 – (Vertical Banner)
125 x 125 – (Square Button)
728 x 90 – (Leaderboard)
160 x 600 – (Wide Skyscraper)
120 x 600 – (Skyscraper)

I’ll give these a look. If they deliver on the contextual and optimization promises, it would make my affiliate life that much easier.

This is great news. I have been using Linkshare for a while now…and although the linking process wasn't that bad I have always thought they could use some improving. Now if only some other affiliate sites would follow suit.

I just really think linkshare is awesome, I hope they run a tight ship as linking can be really touch and go at times.
