I’d imagine the cancellation and fraud piece is why it’s something only afforded to select affiliates in some cpa networks.

I’d say it’s safe to pay with the assumption of quality leads/sales with trusted affiliates, and if necessary, some payments will be deducted from a subsequent check.

Hi Shawn. Anything that makes life better for affiliates is great. However, I think it is worth exploring just how much of an impact this will have. It is my understanding that weekly payments won’t occur unless merchants pay LinkShare weekly. I’ve yet to hear how that will occur. For some merchants, it’s vital to have 14 – 30 days to review transactions, in order to back out cancellations and be sensitive to any fraudulent order. I’m curious to see how many merchants will do this. And, if anyone has any more info on this, I’d love to see it.

This is awesome news for all those rewards programs that have to wait to pay consumers / shoppers until they receive cash from the merchants. This way, consumer will get paid fast, and will be much happier and rewards programs won’t have to pre-pay rewards to consumers to keep them happy. Good find
