I was flying solo on Affiliate Thing today, as Lisa Picarille attended SES in San Jose.
During the show, I discussed a wide array of topics, including YouTube launching overlay ads in videos, episode 1 of the Next Internet Millionaire, the Affiliates Against Cancer fund raiser, and a win by Scott Richter over MySpace.
I also answered a couple questions that had been submitted to AskShawnCollins.com about affiliate marketing, and encouraged affiliates to wake up to the opportunities in video.

Great episode. We’ve been singing the praises of affiliate videos for awhile now at http://www.affiliatesalesvideos.com and have been giving brandable videos for our members. Video compels the visitor to a directable action, much more than audio and text. Videos rock!
