I just got back from a one day trip to Boston – I went up to meet with Missy Ward and check out all of the facilities and vendors for the Boston Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center for Affiliate Summit 2008 East.
I took some pictures of the places where the conference will be taking place.
The hotel is right on the water and has great views of the city. Here is a look from the room where the Affiliate Meet Market will be taking place on August 10.
The conference itself will be taking place in the adjoining Seaport World Trade Center.
We joined up for an Affiliate Summit dinner with a bunch of folks at Cheers in the Faneuil Hall area the night we were out there. Scott Jangro snapped some pictures with his iPhone during dinner.
When I returned home, I found a bunch of good stuff in the mail.
Gary Vaynerchuk from Wine Library TV sent some of his trademark WLTV wristbands and I got a couple Google AdSense stickers for my laptops.
But the biggest news – I got the videos from Affiliate Summit 2008 West, and they will be up soon.

Looks awesome. I am pretty stoked as well for Summit in Boston. I’m glad that it worked out that there was a game in town at least one of the nights.
The location is also perfect because the boat for the soon to be announced “CAMA Cruise” is docked right outside the hotel.

@Andrew – the bar in the video was some pub around the corner from Cheers.
@Jason – I passes Fenway on the way there – seemed like about 2 miles.
I am not familiar with the trains in Boston, but I saw one across the street from the hotel, so maybe it goes there?
There is a Sox/Rangers game on the Tuesday night after Affiliate Summit wraps up, and I plan to be there.
