In most programs, 5% percent of affiliates drive 95% of the commissions. Meet some of the top performing affiliates, learn about their businesses, and discuss what motivates them to promote or flee from a merchant’s program.

I have two ideas. !. Access to niche audiences combined with an ever increasing number of internet users just leads to opportunity. 2. This opportunity can be accessible to many more people when the tools needed to be successful (perhaps not multimillionaires but certainly making more than a living) are automated and easily learned. I think that we are at a turning point where the true experts know the bits and bytes of affiliate marketing and can use that to their advantage, while their success stories appeal to the “long tail” of affiliates who aren’t as experienced in the technical aspects like keyword research.
As we move into an age of automation and compatibility across multiple networks, platforms, and tracking softwares, we will see the rise of the middle class.
It’s all about activation and education.
how do we as an industry move the needle on these statistics and get a greater percentage from a larger amount of affiliates?
