We are expecting about 4,500 affiliate marketers at Affiliate Summit East 2012, taking place August 12-14, 2012 in New York City, and a whole bunch of those people will be going for free.
There are a variety of ways to get a complimentary pass to Affiliate Summit, and since you’re surely a loyal reader of the Affiliate Summit blog, you already know about them.
But I’ll list them all here anyway.

- Affiliate Summit Ticket Sweeps (coming soon): 50 passes given away through Facebook and Twitter
- Press Pass: free VIP pass for covering the conference
- Promotional passes on blogs (coming soon): we provide many blogs with passes to give away in their own promotions

They’ve never had any indication on them that they were free – we can only tell on the backend.
I think you should try this:
Note: Your free pass will not mention anything about your pass being free. Your pass will be similar to any other pass. It will even be similar to the one that people pay for.

I am regularly surprised by the lack of participation by affiliate marketers in our various free pass promotions. Then there are people who pay more than face value for passes on eBay when we sell out. Crazy!
Those who haven’t been to Affiliate Summit yet, do get any of these free passes and attend the event. I am sure you will try to attend every affiliate summit later.
