I've done more chroma key work with Pinnacle than Vegas. In Pinnacle, it does seem to be pretty easy. I'll try and play with Sony more and knowing what I think I know from Pinnacle, see if I can identify any tricks or settings that might make it easier in Vegas.

Thanks a lot, Brett. I have Sony Vegas and I've done a little video editing on it with green screen with the chroma key tool.

It seems to be tricky trying to get the right balance without having the person in front of the green screen become partially transparent or the correct coloring.

Hi Jason -

Yeah, the Green Screen Wizard software is just for photos, but their backgrounds could be used with video editing programs.

I've edited video in Sony Vegas with green screen using the 'Chroma Key' effect . Search for Sony Vegas and green screen on YouTube - there are helpful videos there on how to do it (and pretty much anything else you need to do in Sony Vegas.

According to the site, they only have it being used with photos, not videos. How does that work. Does Vegas studio support green screens?

I'll try to make one later this week.

One nice thing about it is that it is taut to the collapsible frame, so there are no wrinkles.

The more expensive one I have just hangs like a curtain and it's hard to keep it from folding up in places, which can stick out on videos.
