Google has launched Newbie Central, a resource for new AdSense publishers, in their AdSense Help Center.
This area holds the hands of those new to AdSense with the initial steps for getting started, including the basics of an AdSense account and placing code for the ads. They did say “Newbie” Central.
Also included are some brief guides to help get acquainted with various AdSense features, policies, and tools.
