Goodbye ClubMom, Hello CafeMom
Thanks for visiting the Affiliate Tip blog. Subscribe to my RSS feed or enter your e-mail on the top left to get updates by e-mail.
Back in March of this year, I reported that ClubMom had shut down their affiliate program, which had been in operation for six years.
It was a tough thing to see, as I’d launched the program back in 2000 in run it for years after.
Anyhow, it turns out that CafeMom, a sister company to ClubMom (both are part of CMI Marketing), launched an affiliate program on Commission Junction while I wasn’t looking back in May.
According to the affiliate program description on CJ, they are paying a $2 CPA and a 5-25% conversion rate.
Definitely worth checking out for all of the old school ClubMom affiliates, and anybody else who reaches U.S. moms.
Jump on it while it’s fresh and generate some leads.
And if you’re not familiar with CafeMom, here’s a description…
CafeMom is an online community created especially for moms. CafeMom enables thousands of moms to come together online to swap stories and advice on a huge range of topics, share photos, and connect with friends. Plus, they can start public or private groups with other moms about common interests. Moms of all ages and beliefs are now meeting, conversing, and having fun at CafeMom.

reply to this commentI love Cafemom. I was apart of clubmom and really missed it when Giants was no longer apart of their bonus card. I really love the rewards that they gave.

reply to this commentI also would like to find out about my club mom points…any luck?
reply to this commentI was a member of clubmom and would like to redeem my points. Is that still possible?
reply to this commentI had a horrible experience with redeeming club points at club mom. I had collected enough points over a few years to get a $100 gift card to the Gap. Of course the gift card never arrived and it was impossible to get in touch with anyone at Club Mom despite numerous attempts. Just stumled across cafe mom. No surprise that club mom failed. I'm still angry!
reply to this commentI got numerous gift cards from club mom and I am bummed because I wanted to turn some points in for another one! Does this site do anything like that?
reply to this commentIs there any way to redeem the Club Mom points I had accumulated?
reply to this commentCafemom is just as big a fraud as Clubmom was.It is not beneath them to lie or cheat thier members out of money. Same old dog and pony show, only a different dog.
reply to this commentThere were some great articles on the importance of not dieting children, by nutritionist and author Jean Antonello, on Clubmom. I am looking for those articles on the web and can’t find them.
Those articles were Jean’s best writing, clearest explanation of her concepts. Any idea how I can locate those on CafeMom or elsewhere, short of writing to Jean?
Thanks.
