This week on the GeekCast, we meandered for a strong 75+ minutes, so if you have a short commute, we’ve got you covered for a day or so.

Jason Calacanis becomes an affiliateThe eighth episode of the GeekCast Show features Sam Harrelson, Jim Kukral, Lisa Picarille and myself going back to the well with some Jason Calacanis talk.

We were all a Twitter about his Tweet that he had joined CJ and would give affiliate marketing a try on Mahalo.

Other topics included the Google DoubleClick Performics deal, Pepperjam vs. CJ, how I had a dance off with Anik Singal of Affiliate Classroom in Las Vegas (yes, he got served), laptops with mobile broadband, David Allen’s Getting Things Done, and talking smack about Loren Feldman of 1938 Media.

This episode doesn’t go out with a whimper, but a bang. I think Sam stepped on his power cord or something.

Oh Anik – don’t look back in anger.

Everybody knows you missed your flights because you pulled a muscle trying to match my toprock skills.

Give me 51% of Affiliate Classroom or the proof goes on YouTube.

Got served?

You really were drunk that night, weren’t you :)

Man I danced a circle around you. Your little frat boy “dancing” got nothing!

Anik

A lot of blogs have been discussing that Mahalo will be giving affiliate marketing a try, now that they’ve signed up for CJ.

The truth is that Mahalo has been experimenting with affiliate ads from AdSense and the Shopzilla Publisher Program since at least as early as December.

See Jason’s post on this:
