The GeekCast crew made a waiver pickup of Scott Jangro, since Lisa Picarille couldn’t make it this week. So it was Scott with Shawn Collins and Jim Kukral, and the show kicked up with talk of WiFi on American Airlines and how some creeps are using it to visit pr0n sites.

Zune Users Rejoice at McDonald'sAlso, we touched on goofy stuff about the Zune, kids and Internet filters, YouTube taking over the world, and how an iPhone saved Jim during the Great Cleveland Blackout.

Regarding the Porn in Airplanes using Internet WiFi issue.

They should not use rules and laws again to solve a problem that has to do with appropriate interaction between people, respect for each other and the acceptance and tolerating of other peoples feelings and believes.

First should the passenger who is offended by it ask the person to stop doing it until he/she is not forced to be around anymore. If the person ignores the polite request, a flight attendant should be called. The flight attendant will act as a neutral mediator between the two parties and try to find an acceptable and reasonable solution for everybody involved.

If somebody starts making a scene, use existing laws and regulations to solve the matter, which includes even nasty things like a ban from the airline forever or limited time to an unplanned landing of the airplane and removal of the passenger from plane itself, followed by a hefty fine that passenger has to pay for the trouble.

Everything else would be another step into the direction where parents will only be able to talk to their children with a lawyer as witness etc. Talking from human to human is sooo much easier.

    Cheers!

OK, we know you aren't into porn. But your porn-fiend "friends" can save paper and plastic by feeding their fetishes via this neat, new doohickey called the Interweb. (The rest of us can get our PG-rated magazines, movies, and music online.
