The next Affiliate Summit doesn’t take place until August 21-23, 2011 in New York City, so we decided to get something going in between the big conferences each year.
Since business doesn’t stop in between the conferences, Affiliate Summit is starting up a series of monthly affiliate marketing meetups in Austin, Chicago, New York City, Orlando, and San Francisco.
The local affiliate marketing meetups in Chicago, New York City, and San Francisco will be overseen by best-selling author, long-time affiliate marketer and Affiliate Summit emcee, Jim Kukral, who will be the new Affiliate Summit Ambassador.
Missy Ward will head up the Orlando meetups, and I will run the Austin meetups.
We plan to expand the number of cities for affiliate marketing meetups in the future.
If you’re interested in heading up the Chicago, New York City, or San Francisco meetups, please contact Jim Kukral. We are putting together a package of perks for the meetup organizers in each city.
Also, Affiliate Summit recently launched a new affiliate marketing discussion forum for marketers to meet, network and learn for free throughout the year.

We’ll be helping to organize the Affiliate Summit meetups, so we’ll do what we can with speakers.
Also add Rocky Mountain Affiliate Marketing Association in Salt Lake City. Would love to have some national figures in for a monthly meeting.

We plan to expand – we just want to test it out and figure out the best way to scale it up first.
Please put Minneapolis on the list. Connie Berg from Flamingo World and I both live here and the PMA says there are 4,200 affiliates in Minnesota. We’d love to have one of these!
