The eighth episode of the Next Internet Millionaire reality show, hosted by Joel Comm, is now online.
The episode started up with a recap of eCOMMerce chip transactions throughout the show. These are the currency used in the Next Internet Millionaire.
Then the contestants jumped into a research challenge where they had to find information and pictures in short amounts of time. This resulted in immunity for one of the contestants and it was revealed that there is a pact between two of them (for today, at least).
Viral marketing expert Mike Filsaime was the guest speaker this time around. Mike is the guy behind Butterfly Marketing, Viral Friend Generator and other products and services geared towards helping people with their online business.
In this episode, Mike taught the six remaining contestants some of his strategies for generating viral traffic to his websites, and presented them with a task that challenged their viral marketing skills.
There was some trash talking after this challenge – disparaging some of the contestants as used car salesmen; characterizing the techniques of others as sneaky. Good stuff. This is getting interesting.
I particularly liked when one of the players expressed his disillusionment with the whole ebook arena.
Another episode, another contestant is kicked out. Just five people left.
