Posted by Shawn Collins on March 4th, 2008 | 0 Comments

eComXpo, the virtual trade show and job fair for eCommerce marketers, is being acquired by Worldwide Business Research, the producers of eTail and hundreds of other internationally recognized physical events.

Additionally, the first ever virtual version of the industry leading eTail physical event will be co-located with the next eComXpo, being held online July 9-10, 2008.

eComXpo’s last event, held in October, 2007, featured more than 150 exhibitors, 8,000 attendees and 30 presentations. eComXpo will remain 100% online and free to attendees.

eTail had over 120 exhibitors and over 1,200 attendees at their most recent physical event held Feb 11-14th, in Palm Desert, California.

“While we’re not releasing the details of the financial aspects of the deal, I can share that it includes that my team and I will be deeply involved with eComXpo for years to come to ensure the show continues to grow both in size and value to exhibitors and attendees,” stated John Grosshandler, eComXpo Founder and Event Director.

The acquisition is expected to close by March 7, 2008.
