One of my favorite tools, which enables me to convert RSS to HTML for SEO benefits, is CaRP (Caching RSS Parser).
This script, which has a free and paid version (I used the paid one for the expanded features) enables me to feature my blog content on other sites of mine. I am able to customize the output and expose my blog posts to more people.
You can see an example on the AffiliateTip.com homepage. The seven headlines and summaries in the middle of the page are dynamically updated from my blog RSS via CaRP.
Anyhow, I got a note from CaRP creator, Antone Roundy, that he has created a WordPress plugin that uses CaRP to display Amazon.com affiliate ads in blogs.
The plugin is named “CaRP/WP”, and you can download it for free.
CaRP/WP can be used to easily display RSS feeds, including keyword-based Amazon.com affiliate best sellers feeds within your WordPress posts.
If you’re using the free version of CaRP, you’ll need to upgrade if you want to display images in Amazon affiliate feeds.

Thanks for this! The reminder about CaRP is just what I need, maybe it can be used by affiliates if I can figure out how to get their ID in there… And I have been looking for a new way to include Amazon on my sites, not happy with the current scripts I am using that are outdated.

Shawn I maybe missing something here, in which case feel free to give me a kick.
“enables me to feature my blog content on other sites of mine”
I appreciate it you may only utilise the “headlines and summaries”, if someone was to utilise everything available, would this not possibly be damaging for Google and dup content?
As I say, feel free to give me a kick.

Hey Chris -
It is really meant for presenting short bits of content - I suppose a full reprint could be damaging.
I like it for having constantly fresh content on my site that is spiderable, and it’s frequently something different for human visitors.

Just got the following on the CaRP plugin:
I’ve just released an update to CaRP/WP, the WordPress plugin I created that uses CaRP to enable easy display of RSS feeds inside your WordPress posts and pages.
The new version adds a workaround for a PHP bug that caused a bunch of warning messages under some circumstances.
It also has a fun new feature: support for the new YouTube plugin that I just added to CaRP Evolution 4.0. You can use it to display YouTube videos either by keyword (tag) or by YouTube user.
Download the new version and see the documentation at:
