Death of the Colorado Advertising Tax

by Shawn Collins on February 8, 2010

Affiliates in Colorado are exhaling and smiling now, as the portion on affiliates establishing nexus in the state is no longer part of house bill 1193.

Instead, the bill will just be focused on collecting use tax. An amended version of HB 1193 was released Monday morning.

Great job by Jeannie Crooks, Jen Goode, all of the other affiliate marketers that told their stories and spread the word about the advertising tax Colorado.

More details on the PMA blog.

i’m still waiting to hear it all pass in the Senate – a big thanks to everyone involved including Adperio and Shop at Home. in times like these it is amazing to see who steps forward to help the industry, im honored to have met many new people right here in Colorado that have the same passion for this industry as I do.
