NetMargin, a division of Datran Media, announced today that they have incorporated BrandShield, an email compliance dashboard and enforcement tool, into their affiliate marketing platform.
The proprietary BrandShield dashboard enables advertisers, publishers and list owners to monitor and manage compliance, preventing potential delays and other mailing challenges.
BrandShield integrates the privacy and CAN-SPAM compliance solutions from UnsubCentral and reputation monitoring services from LashBack across NetMargin’s network.
Features of BrandShield include:
- Automatically download suppression lists ad hoc via an UnsubCentral API, decreasing the likelihood of complaints.
- Detect potential compliance issues early. This helps both advertising and affiliate partners to mitigate the risk of bandwidth, IP, domains and/or overall mailing challenges.
- Eliminate advertisers’ concerns about “paused” campaigns with automation of suppression list management from UnsubCentral.
- Honor unsubscribes much sooner than the 10-day CAN-SPAM requirement so that affiliates can send more relevant mail, which increases response while reducing complaints.
- Notify advertisers and affiliates when system errors occur related to suppression file management.
- Notify advertisers whose suppression lists are being abused, or who may be unknowingly working with affiliates that are not conducting appropriate suppression list de-duping practices.
