Commission Junction UK has announced the launch of their new PayPerCall service, powered by RingRevenue’s Call Performance Marketing platform, as it is in the United States.
Companies can use the platform to easily create call-based campaigns and have them promoted by affiliates.
UK brands and publishers interested in getting started with PayPerCall can sign up for Commission Junction UK’s programme by contacting Linda O’Connell.
More details on the UK expansion on the RingRevenue blog.

I hope the UK program is better than the US one. The concept sounds very appealing on the outset, but in reality there are only about 60-70 pay-per-call programs to choose from on CJ’s USA platform, many of which have restrictions on what types of websites they allow to participate. But the biggest problem in my opinion is how merchants participating in Pay-Per-Call define “qualifying calls” (calls that qualify for an affiliate payout). In order for the affiliate to get paid for referred calls there needs to be a minimum call duration, which in many cases is set to a minimum of 10 or even 15 minutes(!!!). Not CJ’s fault, and I can see how they’re trying their best to promote their Pay-Per-Call platform, but they really need to explain to some participating merchants the importance of offering an attractive and reasonable deal, so that affiliates will be willing to put the effort into promoting their program.
