I came across some interesting video creative recently as part of Ken Evoy’s Video Build It!. Ken’s affiliate program enables affiliates to feature his clickable videos, and that got me very curious about the potential to use clickable video in other affiliate programs.

Ken shared that we was using a service called Web Video Zone. I took a look at their site and it’s quite a dynamic solution for affiliates and affiliate managers.

Web Video Zone is rich in features and functionality, but the part that gets me excited is the Video Affiliate System.

Affiliate managers simply need to come up with video creative for their affiliates and the WVZ (Web Video Zone) Video Affiliate System does the rest.

The system provides an interface for affiliates where they can submit their unique affiliate ID code via a form, and then receive a small piece of HTML code to add to their site.

Once the code is added, the video is available on-demand on the affiliate’s sites as a standalone video player, all of which is an affiliate link.

Affiliate managers can change the video via the WVZ control panel at any time and the video will automatically update on each affiliate site in real time.

The affiliate video player also includes the options to place a logo image, exit image, and branding features.

The WVZ Video Affiliate System integrates with any affiliate program that utilizes a unique affiliate identifier in the query string. WVZ doesn’t sell an affiliate technology - just the video functionality to use with an existing affiliate program.

This time around the affiliate revolution will be televised on clickable Web video.
