Charitable Affiliate Program from Advanta

by on July 23, 2008

The Advanta affiliate program adds a twist to the traditional affiliate relationship where affiliates earn commission and have charitable donations made in their name.

Advanta is working with microlending organization Kiva, and for every new Kiva BusinessCard customer acquired through the affiliate, Advanta will make a charitable donation to Kiva in the affiliate’s name.

This is in addition to the money the affiliate receives.

Kiva is a person-to-person micro-lending program that enables individuals to lend directly to entrepreneurs in the developing world.

It’s nice to see the Advanta affiliate program giving back.

Advanta is one of the most sought after business credit cards in the industry. Not only cardholders can enjoy low interest rate, there are plenty of rewards option such as cash back and travel rewards.

One of the unique feature of Advanta is business owners can personalized the card with their company name on the top of the credit card.

I'm sure the Advanta affiliate program will work great for site targeting entrepreneurs and business owners in US.

It is nice to see business and charity blend together so nicely. I wonder sometimes if there are business opportunities out there that could have a mutually beneficial charity meets profits relationship. An affiliate site that offers affiliate products but with a portion going to charity has always seemed like a neat idea.
