Build Affiliate Pages Ahead of the Trends
Thanks for visiting the Affiliate Tip blog. Subscribe to my RSS feed or enter your e-mail on the top left to get updates by e-mail.
I like to check Google Trends for potential hot topics that could be leveraged through affiliate campaigns.
Sometimes, there is something that hasn’t hit the trend lists, yet, but I have a feeling it will be big.
That something today is a book that comes out next Tuesday called “Gary Vaynerchuk’s 101 Wines.”
Earlier this week, Gary Vaynerchuk was on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, and next Monday will be his second appearance on Late Night with Conan O’Brien.
I anticipate that Gary’s fans and word of mouth will drive “Gary Vaynerchuk’s 101 Wines” to the top of the bestseller list on Amazon, the New York Times, etc.
There will be media and buzz about the book next week, which is why I set up http://www.101wines.info/ this week.
I’m thinking the ten minutes of work to throw together a page will pay off.

This is great, Shawn. I love the KISS nature of the site. While the site hits all the important points and has many different media hitting the reader with images, text, and video — you took quick, decisive action to get something up in time for the expected rush. Let us know how it works out, next week.
reply to this commentHi Shawn,
I'm looking forward to seeing how you do with this as well. I think sometimes gut feelings are far better at predicting trends than tools like Google. Kind of like Luke “trusting his feelings” at the end of Star Wars. He was able to blow up the Death Star, and I think you're going to be able to sell some books. Let us know how it goes, and good luck!
This post has been featured in FullTiltBlogging.com's Daily Blog Summary today. Great post
reply to this commentWhat software did you use to throw the site together in 10 minutes?
- it looks great, but would take me at least 2 hours.
Sean
reply to this commentI code my HTML “by hand” (I use a free program called Arachnophilia that enables shortcuts for stuff like table creation) – it's just a two column table.
If the raw HTML doesn't appeal to you, pick up Dreamweaver or another HTML editor.

reply to this commentHere is how it works:
Affiliates can register:
Then post a deal.
Here is what makes it cool: YOU put your affiliate url in the url space and get commisions on all deals and products YOU put your affiliate url in for deals.
It is about time someone came up with a site for FREE for Affiliate use!
And who doesn't love KISS ?
