LinkShare’s parent company, Rakuten, is going to purchase Buy.com for $250 million, according to OC Metro.
The acquisition makes it so Buy.com is owned by the parent company of LinkShare, while the Buy.com affiliate program is at Commission Junction.
Rakuten purchased LinkShare back in the fall of 2005.
