Just as the Christmas shopping and gift card redemption times are winding up, there is another big affiliate opportunity for anybody reaching the college student demographic: textbook sales.

It’s been quite a while now (I graduated back in 1993 from the University of Maryland), but I still feel the pain of students paying big money at the local student book store on campus.

What a back-breaker when you have no money and need to put it on one of those high interest student credit cards.

So anyway, Amazon sent out a note to affiliates today about their big stock of textbooks…

Amazon.com’s Textbook Store supports higher learning at lower prices with savings of up to 30% on over 100,000 new textbooks shipped from and sold by Amazon.com. In addition, students can also save up to 90% off the list price of millions of used listings.

I wish I had that option back in the day. Be sure to promote those textbooks in the coming weeks – save some money for students and put some cash in your pocket.
