It all depends on what the search engines are able to spider.

It is my understanding that displays of this sort, that are in HTML and do not have any value added proposition or element that makes them unique &lt;i&gt;could&lt;/i&gt; be penalized.</description>

		<description>Hey Shawn - What about the product displays produced by Shareasale? Do the search engines penalize that type of content? I mean, it is not exactly the same as a data feed, but it is a multiple listing of related products offered by specific merchants. In my case these product displays seem to enhance my listings on search. Of course, you must go in and update them from time to time, but I have yet to find another site with exactly the same product displays I am showing. 

Still, I see a few of my display stores being removed now and then, inexplicably. I cannot figure out why some come out and some don&#039;t.

As I see it, the Shareasale product displays add real product information content to the page. What do you think about this in relation to the post about data feeds?</description>
