Ask Shawn Collins: Credit Card Affiliate Programs

I was recently at creditcards.com where they list all types of cards MC, VISA, etc. When you click on a card, basically it takes you to their affiliate link. Now my question is how can I get affiliated with all the different credit card companies? I am familiar with CJ.com and how it works, however I am not yet an affiliate. When I browsed through there client list, I did not see MC or Visa. Basically I was wondering if maybe I just missed them, or is there another location where I can sign up to be an affiliate with them?

Try going to the site for each credit card and checking whether they have a link in the footer thay says something like “Become an Affiliate,” Affiliate Program,” etc.

In the case of American Express, they have an affiliate program through LinkShare. The affiliate program for the Discover Card is at Commission Junction.

MasterCard and Visa are different – they have affiliate programs through various banks, most of which seem to be on CJ.

For instance, there are affiliate programs on CJ for Citibank, First USA, and Providian. LinkShare has an affiliate program for Chase, and Performics has an affiliate program for Bank of America.
