There is a new affiliate marketing forum called AffSpot with Sam Harrelson as the Admin.
The Moderators for the AffSpot forum are Ron Bechdolt, Aunesty Janssen, and Kellie Stevens.
The forum is powered by vBulletin and has a typical affiliate forum offering of general areas, tools and resources, affiliate networks, OPMs, etc.
Given that AffSpot is headed up by Sam Harrelson, I’d imagine the forum will have a heavier focus on Web 2.0 and emerging technologies than other industry forums.
One thing I am not clear about is the reasoning for how sections are listed, because it’s not alphabetical.
It doesn’t seem to be based on which section has the most posts.
Most favored nation status?
Not sure, but to me, it’s easier visually to scan alphabetically to find things.

Thanks for the post, Shawn!
As far as the posts go, they are basically arranged as they were set up (the software we use for the forum has a “posting order” default as new forums are set up).
Alphabetical is definitely a good idea for easier navigation, so I'll go back in and do that now
There will be lots of emerging affiliate tech stuff on the forum as well as a generous mixing of network news and involvment (Linkshare just came on board this morning to moderate their forum).
So, we're pretty excited about the early growth and the future!
reply to this commentHey, another affiliate marketing forum
I wonder how they intend to keep spammers out
Linda has a great affiliate marketing forum, which i particularly like because all the posts seem absolutely genuine
There are forums that have been totally taken over by people promoting their affiliate links
I suppose only time will tell for this new forum
