Affiliate Summit East 2009 registrations are on the verge of closing. Recently, I thought we’d have them open until Friday, July 31, but they’ve been coming in fast than expected this week.
It looks like the final day to register, before we reach capacity, will be Friday, July 24. So, if you’ve been sitting on the fence, now is the time to get your registration booked.
And as of right now, there is still limited availability in the Hilton New York, where the conference is taking place.
As you may be aware, typically after we have to close registrations, a secondary market pops up with people selling passes on eBay. These are independent of us and the prices often go for 50%, 100%, or more of the face value.
Register now for Affiliate Summit East 2009.

Your Message@Shawn Collins:
Great. Thanks. I’ll leave it up to you two to get together when the time is right.

@Joanne Taylor-Boise, Idaho:
I am in touch with Dush (he’s on the Affiliate Summit Advisory Board), and well acquainted with the advertising tax (there are two sessions on it at Affiliate Summit).
However, since I am running the conference, I don’t schedule meetings.
Hi Shawn. Might you have time to meet with ClickBank during Affiliate Summit East?
ClickBank CEO Brad Wiskirchen and VP of Marketing Dush Ramachandran are going to be on hand to talk about the company’s plans to deal with new state tax laws (New York, Hawaii, Rhode Island, North Carolina) targeted at online retailers with a physical presence in said states.
As I’m sure you’re aware, business ties to marketing affiliates constitute a physical presence, so some of the major online retailers like Amazon and Overstock.com are dropping their affiliate programs in affected states..
Do you have time to meet with them? If so, which day/time of day works best for you? If not, perhaps you could talk to them by phone after the show….
Thanks.

Aah Shawn! too far from NY!!! Unable to attend.
Anyone who doesn’t attend Affiliate Summit and has the opportunity to is missing out! This is one of the best shows of the year, both for networking and learning. See you there!
Awesome! Well, maybe not for those who will want to attend at the last minute but congrats, Shawn.
