Affiliate Summit 2008 East, Day 1

I just got back to my room at the Boston Seaport Hotel after a long first day of Affiliate Summit 2008 East.

There were a bunch of things going on today, including the Affiliate Meet Market, where 82 exhibitors staffed tables for 6 hours to network and make deals with other folks at the Affiliate Summit.

There were also two tracks of sessions, an introductory education session covering ppc, social media, the New York affiliate tax, and affiliate management, as well as overviews of ShareASale, Amazon.com, and the pepperjamNETWORK.

Today was also setup day for the exhibit hall, which will be open Monday and Tuesday with about 120 booths and tables.
