Affiliate Marketing at ad:tech San Francisco

by on April 11, 2009

I’ve been mapping out the things I’ll be doing at ad:tech San Francisco in a little more than a week, and I came across a panel that looks good.

It’s a sponsored workshop from MediaTrust called Performance Marketing–Getting the Most from Your Marketing Dollar in a Tough Economy.

The panel features a nice roster of speakers that are well versed in affiliate marketing…

MODERATOR:
Neil Strother, Analyst, Forrester Research

PANELISTS:
Steve Schaffer, Founder and CEO, Vertive – Publisher of Offers.com
Jarvis Mak, Senior VP, Global Research and Insights Director, Havas Digital
Peter Bordes, CEO, MediaTrust
Kelly Powers, Senior Manager, Customer Acquisition, Zazzle

This session is taking place Wednesday, April 22 from 1:30pm – 2:30pm.

Also, I was looking at the nominees for the ad:tech Awards and I saw that there are lots of familiar names in the “Interactive Campaigns — Best Performance Marketing Campaign” category:

  • eBay: eBay Partner Network Quality Campaign
  • Yesmail: HP Mini 1000: The Perfect Mobile Companion
  • Performics: Online Traffic Makes Instore Buyers
  • Yesmail: HP Voodoo Monthly Newsletter
  • Direct Agents Interactive: Accuquote Affiliate Program

The winners will be posted online for all categories on the evening of Monday, April 20th.

Also, there is the Affiliate Summit Beer Garden taking place April 21-22 at ad:tech, as well as a networking party.

Go to the Affiliate Summit Calendar and add these events to your own calendar so you don’t miss them.

Your Message@MLDina:
Thanks Dina – I have a tentative meeting then, but I’ll see if I can make it permanent at some other time. :)

Hey Shawn- If you’re not too busy drink–err, I mean hosting the beer garden at AdTech, we’re having an affiliate meet up on Tuesday at 12:30 at Scala’s Bistro down the block from the Moscone. All are welcome!

Shawn, this is shaping up to be the major event at ad:tech!

Looking forward to catching up at the party.
