My Affiliate Summit partner, Missy Ward, is organizing a team of affiliate marketers for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on June 5-6, 2010 in Chicago.
Last year, the team (Affiliate Marketers Give Back) raised over $53,000 during their walk in Los Angeles, and they hope to surpass that this year.
Right now, they’re recruiting new walkers for the team. If you’re interested, get more details from the Affiliate Marketers Give Back site.
And if you can’t walk, please consider making a donation in support of the team and the cause. The suggested minimum donation is $40.00 ($1.00 per mile).
Also, there are opportunities to sponsor the team, so you can get the word our about your company, blog, or whatever, and do some good at the same time.
All money raised on this walk will be managed and disbursed by the Avon Foundation Breast Cancer Crusade to help provide access to care for those that most need it, fund educational programs, and accelerate research into new treatments and potential cures.
